Shadows
Right...at first I don't post for a month, and then I post two things in the same day. I miss Shadow Sundays, so here's a photo I took at my parents' kitchen today:
Happy Hannukah!
Happy Hannukah! I'm in Seattle and thought I'd take a few photos of a menorah Anna and I brought back for our parents years ago. It's one of the most beautiful menorahs I've seen, and I love how you can change up its look.

Photo Essay from Boston
I just got back from a 3 day trip to Boston. I haven't been to Boston in six years and had a great time getting to know the city again, eating out, visiting a few museums and just walking around.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the trip.
These are the photos I took at the Holocaust Memorial in Boston. I know they are somber, but that's life sometimes.
Let's change the mood: I saw these planters and took a photo for Anna because she finally bought her first pair of rain boots.
Here's the only one photo of me: that's what happens when you travel solo.
The next set of photos is from Beacon Hill.
Fall was in the air!!
I really like this set of photos. There was a motorcycle on the street, and I decided to take photos looking in its mirror. LOVE the architectural details.
