Farmers' Markets
I love vegetables and fruit, especially when they don't cost an arm and a leg. On my vacation in San Francisco (yes, I'm still talking about it) I went to two such markets: the first one was at the Ferry Building and the second one was at the United Nations Plaza (next to the Asian museum of Art).
I haven't seen such gorgeous produce and flowers in a long time. And the prices at the United Nations Plaza market were unbelievable! I wished I had an extra piece of luggage so I could pack it with produce and take it all back to DC with me. Instead, I had to be satisfied with buying a basket of tomatoes for a $1 and enjoying them walking around.
