Basil & Ranunculus from Penn Quarter Farmers Market

LOVE flowers. This past Thursday I picked up some gorgeous ranunculus at the Penn Quarter Farmers Market (and a min basil plant).

This was a minor casualty: somehow I managed to snap off this flower once I got home :(

Weekend in New York City

This past weekend Anna and I met in New York City to start off our birthday celebration. We stayed with my good friend Jenny. It was a relaxing weekend of eating out and in, going salsa dancing, walking around Brooklyn and just catching up.
